SUMMARY:Walking Football Weekly Game
DESCRIPTION:The weekly walking football session is – Tuesday 4.30 pm until 5.30pm . You can arrive from 4.20 pm for a 10 minute warm up before Kick Off and there will be a 10 minute cool down followed by a non compulsory rehydration drink at The Bistro. Please bring your own water bottle for the drinks break. \nVenue – Camp Municipal D’Esports Sant Antoni de Calonge\, Carrer de la Sardana\, s/n 17252 Sant Antoni de Calonge \, there is a large open air free car park next to the Sports Hall \nhttp://esports.calonge.cat/instalacions/ \nWalking Football is open to all ages\, abilities and genders and is a non-contact sport . The game is usually played outside on the astro artifical surface using half a pitch ( or less). In case of inclement weather we can use the indoor sports hall with a hard surface and generally we have enough people for at least 5 side (although much smaller sided games are possible) .  The pitch size is adjusted to suit the amount of players . Players need a suitable training shoe with grip but shin pads are not necessary and please bring a water bottle.  Any training shoe can be used but Football boots ( if you still have some !) with studs or blades cannot be used . We play one game with a halftime drinks break between and a 10 minute warm up to start and 10 minutes to cool down. \n Guests are more than welcome even if you have never kicked a football before it’s a very easy and highly enjoyable introduction to Football. \nSee you Tuesday \nGail and Julian

SUMMARY:Padel Group Monthly Session
DESCRIPTION:The group’s monthly sessions resume with the September one being held at Serres de Pals Sports Club on Friday September 25 from 10am for 90 minutes play. The session is open to all members\, north and south\, as this gives us a better chance of a good attendance. \nThere are four padel courts at the club\, so that means a maximum of 16 players. But in order to allow for rest breaks\, we can extend the number to 20. Any more people runs the risk of too much time spent waiting for a game. \nWe should meet at the club at 9.30am for a coffee and to sort out pairings. There is a nice clubhouse with a terrace overlooking the golf course and plenty of parking. \nPlayers should wear suitable sporting attire. A hat\, sunscreen and water would also be useful. The cost is 6 euros per person. Padel rackets can be hired at the club for a small cash sum \nThe session is not just for people who know how to play padel. I hope beginners will also come along to have a hit and learn the rules. It is meant to be a fun session\, with the games not being taken too seriously. \n

DESCRIPTION:The weekly walking football session is – Tuesday 4.30 pm until 5.30pm . You can arrive from 4.20 pm for a 10 minute warm up before Kick Off and there will be a 10 minute cool down followed by a non compulsory rehydration drink at The Bistro. Please bring your own water bottle for the drinks break. \nVenue – Camp Municipal D’Esports Sant Antoni de Calonge\, Carrer de la Sardana\, s/n 17252 Sant Antoni de Calonge \, there is a large open air free car park next to the Sports Hall \nhttp://esports.calonge.cat/instalacions/ \nWalking Football is open to all ages\, abilities and genders and is a non-contact sport . The game is usually played outside on the astro artifical surface using half a pitch ( or less). In case of inclement weather we can use the indoor sports hall with a hard surface and generally we have enough people for at least 5 side (although much smaller sided games are possible) .  The pitch size is adjusted to suit the amount of players . Players need a suitable training shoe with grip but shin pads are not necessary and please bring a water bottle.  Any training shoe can be used but Football boots ( if you still have some !) with studs or blades cannot be used . We play one game with a halftime drinks break between and a 10 minute warm up to start and 10 minutes to cool down. \n Guests are more than welcome even if you have never kicked a football before it’s a very easy and highly enjoyable introduction to Football. \nSee you Tuesday \nGail and Julian
