This is a very easy walk of just under 5.5 km starting at the restaurant Font Picant. The walk initially uses the ‘Carrilet’, a flat well-constructed pathway which follows the route of the old train line. What used to be the station for the small village of Bell Lloc now houses the excellent Font Picant restaurant which opens in the morning for coffee before serving lunch from 1 pm. The ‘carrilet’ route takes into the residential area of nearby Santa Cristina where we cross down to the main road for a coffee stop at the Hostal Barnés. We then walk along the main street to the edge of town before taking another broad flat path which has a very slight incline before rejoining the Carrilet to return to the Font Picant in time for lunch. There is an opportunity to slightly shorten the walk for those who cannot manage more than 5 km.
