Bravas Walk – El Cap Norfeu

This walk is relatively short but in places demanding as we ascend to the top of the Torre de Cap Norfeu at a height of 150 metres. El Cap de Norfeu is now part of the nature reserve based between Roses and Cadaques. This spit of land juts out into the Mediterranean with spectacular views along the Costa Brava coast. On route we will visit the Torre, the hermits cave and the shepherds shelters. The walk is only 5 km in length but the well trodden paths can be tricky at times so good walking shoes are a must. I would also suggest walking sticks if you have them and if we are lucky and it is sunny, a hat would be useful. We will meet at the Cala Montjoi Resort Car Park at 10:00 to set off at 10:15. Unfortunately it is closed so no coffee start this time. A restaurant in Roses has been booked for those who want to stop at a cost of 18 euros. Further information and menu will be circulated to those joining us on this walk.

Directions to meeting place
Drive into Roses and then take signs to Cala Montjoi. This winding road takes you through the National Park to eventually arrive at the Cala Montjoi Resort. The car park is opposite this resorts entrance.
