You are now members of the Costa Brava U3A. It is time for you to decide which of the following groups interest you and you would like to join. The group coordinator describes the activities and other important information on their group page so have a look. Once you decide which groups you would like to join please email the coordinators. This is very easy to do as on each group page, just under the coordinator contact details there is an envelope,  click on it and an email will open for you to complete to request group membership. You will need to do this for each group you would like to join. This email goes directly to the coordinator and contains all your contact details.

Welcome to the Cycling: E CYCLING GROUP Group

Group Coordinators

There are currently no events scheduled for this group

The group events will be cycled at a similar pace to the ‘Cycling for Pleasure Group.’
It will meet on the 2nd Monday of each month.
The events will include routes which are up to Level 7 on the Costa Brava U3A Cycle Guidelines
Any members who wish to join the group should either have ‘E’ bikes or be able to tackle routes up
to Level 7 on the Costa Brava U3A Guidelines on their normal bikes.
25 – 35 kms route includes hills/inclines which are not steep but could be long   Are comfortable riding at 18 km/hr on the flat.  Suitable for e-bikes.
30 – 40 kms  ( reference should be made to length, hills and inclines & difficult terrain)
It is anticipated that the routes would be in the range of 15-35 Kms.
We anticipate that the groups ‘E’ routes will be primarily on minor metalled roads or dedicated cycle paths. They will need to be accurately described, and when possible aggregated elevations made known.
As in all other groups, each member will be expected to organize & lead the occasional route. This gives the group the opportunity to experience the more varied and interesting routes afforded by the use of ‘E’ bikes.
All members can access the New ‘E Bike Group’ under GROUPS on the U3a Website.
Those members who would like to join the group please contact Norman and Yvonne through the email facility on that group page or simply by emailing. They look forward to hearing from you.
