WHAT A WONDERFUL DAY WE HAD IN PERPIGNAN!
The sun shone throughout, the smiles on everyones faces showed they had had a good day, the fact that many slept on the way back, I think,meant they had enjoyed the day!
We split into several groups, an ‘Historic Tour Group’, an ‘Introduction into the Perpignan Way of Life Group’ and a self guided walk for those already familiar with the town. Perpignan old city is not large but there is plenty to see or do and we kept seeing familiar faces from our group dining or walking. It was lovely to wander around this peaceful, beautiful town.
In many ways it was an unforgettable day. My thanks to all who made it so.
