- The GI 623 is a road which connects two points along the C-31. Follow signs for L'Escala before turning off onto the GIP 6307 which leads to a car park within easy walking distance of the historical centre of the village.
- Route Description
- We follow a well-defined path. Some sections may be muddy if there has been any rain. From the village we walk northwards parallel to the beach (the wind may have blown sand over the path) We then cross a road and walk across an open area to the north and fields to the left. If it has rained this is where sensible footwear is needed in case of manouvering puddles. Then we turn inland through an avenue of trees, turning past local properties to the main road where we cross at a level crossing to bring us back to the carpark. Depending on timing, we can either return directly to the restaurant or, by agreement, turn right by the carpark to the sea-front walk as far as the (closed) gates to the Greek and Roman ruins and return for lunch.

- The lunch menu at L'Esculapi will cost 22 euros per person and includes three courses, water, wine, bread and coffee. See below for the menu and give your choices in the appropriate box using the numbers given for each dish

This is a tried and tested gentle flat walk which will take approximately one hour and covers a distance of three kilometres. There will be an option to add an additional seafront stroll for those who wish.
