U3A AGM & Speaker Sir Gregory Doran

A chance for you to have an insight about how your club is performing and vote for your committee for 2026/27.
We begin with coffee and a catch up with old friends and chance to make new ones.
We then move onto the business part of the event – Presidents Report, Treasurers Report and questions time.
We are honoured to have a very special Speaker this year –  Sir Gregory Doran  Artistic Director of the Royal Shakespeare Company until 2022.  Sir Gregory will be presenting – Walking Shadow – Love, Loss & Shakespeare
Lunch available afterwards at €18:50 inc. coffee

Sir Gregory Doran has been involved with the Royal Shakespeare Company since 1987.  From acting to directing he achieved some “pioneering work in Shakespearean Theatre”.   His awards and achievements are too numerous to mention here but to find out more you can listen to his interview on Desert Island Disks    https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m002f6nr
