WAGs is back! This time, we will be heading just north of Figueres to a lovely vineyard called La Vinyeta which has received rave reviews from everyone that has visted there; here is just one example of many you can find…. (www.winetourism.com/winery/lavinyeta). La Vinyeta is nestled in Mollet de Peralada, within Spain’s picturesque Emporda region. This winery embraces traditional farming methods, where vineyards coexist harmoniously with livestock and olive trees. Chickens enjoy leftover grapes, sheep graze among the vines, and bees enhance biodiversity, showcasing the winery’s commitment to environmentally friendly winemaking, La Vinyeta produces honey, eggs, olive oil, and cheese, offering a true taste of Mediterranean culture.
We will start with a welcome drink followed by a tour, a general wine/olive experience accompanied by more tasting before finally enjoying a delightful picnic lunch consisting of many of their own products…and of course all the food will be washed down with more delightful wine!! (the lunch is an integral part of the whole tasting experience).
