Directions to meeting place

Bar la Draga at the top end of Banyoles , close to lakeside. It is on the opposite corner to Parc la Draga. Either approach by going straight up through the town, heading north, and it is the final roundabout on the edge of town on the C150 . Or coming from the north, from the C66 dual carriageway, you approach the town on the GIP5121, and at the roundabout on reaching the edge of town, turn right onto Carretera Figueras , and the parking is immediately on the right. Route Description

Following the Via Verde, the route initially goes through the back streets of the town, and then into open countryside, following a picturesque stream. The route is interesting , varied and colourful with lots of twists and turns, but always of good quality. Shortly after Cornella de Terri, we complete our journey on the Via , and then loop back towards the west side , primarily on good but scarcely used tarmac roads and minor hills. Bypassing most of Banyoles, we then drop back to the lakeside.
